Welcome to my Traditional African and South African recipes.

This started off with the Elephant Stew recipe, mainly as a joke, but soon expanded to something big as I became interested in our traditional recipes and found more to add to the site. I have now become a collector and would like to see this section eventually become a comprehensive collection of our Traditional Recipes.  I find the old family recipe scrapbooks an invaluable source of information and am thankful that they weren't trashed in the many "spring cleanings" that we regularly have! If you happen to have a traditional recipe that I don't have here, please email it to me, I will always have space for one more!

I am on Facebook! Come look me up! My Facebook addy :

Are you running out of ideas on what to put on the kid's sarmies? Well, you can relax as I have a whole page full of great ideas for you. Why not email me and share your own idea?

My Super Recipe CD now contains the following complete recipe eBooks, 49 English, 40 digitised collectible eBooks most more than 100 years old, 8 bonus books and 50+ eBooks in Afrikaans.
The digitised collectibles have been scanned in and are in pdf format, you see the books as they appeared about a century ago. I added these specially for you recipe book collectors!

We usually go to Carnival City, our local entertainment complex about twice a month for a movie, a good meal and a flutter at the tables or machines. Most times it is crowded and my favourite machines are taken. Then I came across Silversands online casino. You simply sign up, download some software and you can practise with fun money to your heart's content before you play with the real thing.
